Casa Colina

This stunning private Villa is surrounded on three sides by water, and prominently perched on the hill above the magnificent Grand Bay hotel and marina.

With panoramic views over the hotel to the quaint town of Barra De Navidad and completely unobstructed views of the Marina, lagoon and ocean with its many miles of un spoilt beaches has guests entranced by the never ending yet always changing views, whether watching birds soar or tracking a super yacht coming from the ocean into the marina there is always something of interest to view.

The spacious palapa lounge is the center point for gatherings and cocktails, with a BBQ kitchen, oval bar, aqua fire water feature and generous seating, most days seem to start and end in this magical area.

The outdoor level has a huge infinity edge pool for cooling off, taking in the view, relaxing, or swimming laps to your choice of music from the underwater speakers, the 10 seat infinity Jacuzzi is often a favorite after lunch or as the sun goes down and with plenty of plush loungers as well as its own BBQ kitchen there is always a new way to enjoy the outdoor life at Casa Colina.

There are so many places to eat at the villa with deliciously tantalizing food made to order by the skilled French chef that many guests choose to never leave the villa, but the small town of Barra De Navidad is only a short water taxi ride away and has many quaint yet lively restaurants and bars to offer, as does the Grand Bay Hotel.

The fragrant terraced gardens surrounding the Villa are lovingly manicured by the ground staff, interesting walks along the hand laid pebbled walkways lead to secluded private areas to read a book or just take in a different view.

The spacious 7 seat vehicle supplied with the Villa is available from the motor court, accessed by the three storey glass panoramic elevator, it can whisk you off to play Golf or visit one of the many attractions further afield.

Pool & Spa
The oversized infinity edge pool is (luxurious 20ft (6m) x 50ft (15m) feet long) ideal for relaxing and taking in the spectacular views along the infinity edge or for the more energetic swimming laps whilst enjoying your choice of music from the sub aquatic speakers. The spa is designed and built for relaxation and a firm favorite after lunch or at night. Its layout can accommodate 10+ people and is always the ideal temperature…..a perfect place for afternoon cocktails. The pool deck has its own restroom with shower.

Oval Bar
The ingenious ‘Oval Bar’ located in the enormous top level palapa is great for entertaining or serving light meals and snacks. A focal point of the Palapa by day or night. Enjoy the panoramic views from the Villa right on your bar stool whilst experiencing an expertly blended margarita or cocktail of your choice

Top of the world Palapa
The top of the world palapa is an enchanting space. The enormous thatched palapa is illuminated by the custom built estrella chandelier hanging impressively in its center. This chameleon of rooms seems to change by the hour, from shady breakfast area, casual seating and entertaining to satellite BBQ kitchen. This room can cater to just about any occasion, all whilst taking in the ever changing views before

Dining Room and Chef's Kitchen
Although there are many places to eat at Casa Colina the dining room and Chef's kitchen form the ideal location for an epicurean extravaganza. The impressive hand laid brick cathedral ceiling and artistic chandelier and fireplace are as dramatic as the gourmet food prepared right next to you in the Chef's Kitchen by the Villas own resident French Chef or if you wish create your own masterpiece, a wide variety of cuisines are suggested in the ‘Chefs Guide’ but most tastes or styles can be accommodated with a little notice.

Dining El Fresco
The poolside dining area and satellite BBQ kitchen are perfect for a delicious lazy lunch or a elegant romantic evening meal under the stars. The food is either prepared poolside by the Chef or in the Chefs kitchen and served at the table, you decide which or why not do both on different days.

Fitness Center
The efficient fitness center has a variety of high end fitness machines to choose from all positioned in front of oversized fold back windows to reveal one of the most dramatic views from the Villa. Alternatively, the large screen plasma TV can keep you up to date with the latest news or stock prices whilst on the orbital trainer or treadmill. Chilled water and towels are available to make your experience complete.

Lagoon View Lounge
The lagoon view lounge has dramatic views over the lagoon and mountains off in the distance, furnished with sumptuous local and Balinese furnishing. Perhaps its masterpiece is the hand laid brick cathedral ceiling above you, either enjoy the coziness of the large crackling fireplace or slide back the enormous pocket doors to open the room up to the great outdoors, the lounge has its own bar and restroom so entertain in comfort in this self contained spacious area

Crystal Cava
The crystal cava is the Villa’s well stocked wine room, conveniently located in the Lagoon view lounge. A wide variety of wines from around the world are stocked here and available for purchase whilst staying at the villa, a modest 20% is added to the wholesale prices to cover transportation

Motor Court and Vestibules
The Motor court and brick domed portico entrance are located at the upper level of the Villa. As you enter the top vestibule the staggering views are everywhere you look, enormous sheets of glass, give you a glimpse of what you are about to enjoy, fresh flowers and a cheerful greeting by the Villa staff along with the Villa’s signature cocktails tell you that you have stepped into a truly magical place. Visit the other vestibules each with their own lounge via the elegant winding spiral staircase or observe the views inside the glass elevator as you head down to the living areas of Casa Colina.

TV Room
The TV home theater system is located in the lower level vestibule and has everything you need. If TV is your chosen entertainment, the 65” Panasonic plasma is linked to the Bose surround sound audio DVD system, the Dish Network HD satellite system keeps you up to date with all your favorite programs or sporting events
