Kahi Malu is a two-bedroom, one-bath cottage in Volcano Village, on a quiet one-lane road. This newly refurbished, comfortable guest cottage has room for a family of five but is also ideally suited for couples or singles.
The cottage has koa floors throughout, with Egyptian-loomed area rugs, carpets in the dining area and kitchen, and numerous built-ins. Lovely furnishings in the cottage and lush landscaping outside offer a restful home base from which guests may explore Hawai?i Volcanoes National Park.

There is a fully furnished kitchen, with adjacent dining area and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower. The built-in living room entertainment unit houses a TV (on cable) and VCR, as well as a mini stereo, plus movie videotapes and music CDs and cassettes.

The living room has a full-sized futon couch, and koa wood floors with Egyptian-loomed area rugs. The master bedroom has a very comfortable king-sized bed, with built-in headboard and side tables. There is a bedside phone. Across the master bedroom is a built-in desk and shelving unit and, on the far wall, a loveseat sofa with side tables.
