This condominium building is one of the newest in Cozumel and one of the most popular due to its excellent location, great snorkeling and amenities. Built on a coral shoreline in the northern hotel zone, it is close enough that you can walk into town (1 mile). Guests of Cantamar enjoy a 5-story building with a total of only 8 units which means privacy plus a great view of Cozumel's bay area.

Along the ocean is a freshwater swimming pool and Jacuzzi (not heated). A man-made beach area provides an area for sunning and a place for little ones to play in the sand while protected from the coral shoreline by a low retainer wall. A oceanfront pier with ladder offers easy access into the water for diving or snorkeling. You'll find the sea teeming with brightly colored sea life which swims freely amidst the coral and rock formations. All units are two bedrooms, two bathrooms as well as living room, dining room and full kitchen. Condos have oceanfront balconies or patios, central air conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV and VCRs.

A few notes on individual condos:
Units 303 and 301 are on the third story, 202 is on the second story and 102 would be on on the first level. All of these units share an identical floor plan: Two bedrooms and two baths (both with tub and shower) are located on the north side of the condo. The other side is an open area with sunken living room, dining room and kitchen. The living room and master bedroom front the ocean with great views from the balcony or patio. Mexican handicrafts and artwork and sturdy wood crafted or wrought iron tables add a Mexican flavor to the decor.
All master bedrooms have king size beds. The second bedrooms have double beds. In #301 there is a king size bed and a set of bunk beds, (2 twins).

Most units have CD/tape players. All kitchens are equipped with refrigerator, oven, microwave,
blender, toaster, coffeemaker.

Unit 202 has a heated double Jacuzzi on the balcony!
